ABOUT

I am an Iranian-American photographer and composer, known for my portrait photography works of fellow artists and classical musicians but also my documentary work and landscapes.  My musical background impacts how I see and react to music and interact with musicians as a photographer.

 

In working with musicians, I aim at creating photographs that are impactful to the outside world and effective within the arts community. I view photography as a philosophical and spiritual practice that draw the viewer in, beyond social expressive vocabulary.

I have lived in Tehran, Yerevan, Salzburg, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and currently resides in Sacramento, CA. I love languages and speak Armenian, English, German and Farsi and have a passion for nature, calligraphy and martial arts.
